Somerset County Council Chairman’s Award
for Service to the Community
Parish Councils have been asked to consider nominating an individual (or couple) who they believe has given or contributed above and beyond what would be expected for the benefit of their local community. There are no pre-defined categories; nominations could be for a specific project or dedicated service over a period of many years.
If you feel there is someone in the village who deserves to be recognised by receiving this award you are requested to nominate them by filling in the form obtainable from the Charlton Musgrove website and submit it to Vera Vebber-Ovsiannikova the Parish Council Clerk whose email address is: Charltonmusgroveclerk@gmail.com .
Your nomination must be passed to her by 27 Jul 12. If you do not have email a hard copy of the form can be obtained from Chris Mieville in The Old Rectory Barrow Lane. Completed forms are to be returned to him.
The presentation of awards will take place on Thursday 18 October 2012. It is anticipated that the nominator or in his/her absence the Seconder will be invited to attend the Presentation Evening.
