When do you plan to start? Building work has stated.
Do you have local Council and District Council support? Yes, our proposals have been supported in the developing parish plan and have already been financially supported by our Parish Council, our district councilor and ward member with small grants. We have been awarded the maximum grant possible £70,000 from the Joint Capital Fund of Somerset District and County Councils which we will access in Jan 2010 and are confident of another £12,000 from the Distirict Council in December 2009.
Did you have professional advice? Yes, Slade Parry of Yeovil are acting as trustees agent to matermind the building programme and help us appoint contracotrs. Slade Parry helped Hadspen Hall Committee build the new hall in Hadspen which opened last year.
Whats the appeal target? is £310,00 and we have £17,000 still to raise.
How are you going to raise the money? The same way as we have done already – by the whole community getting involved in fund raising activities and applying for as much grant funding as we are able to.
