Grant Funders

A big thank you to all those people and organisations that have provided or given funds to allow our Memorial Hall to be rebuilt.

The Village.

The community fundraised a staggering £100,000 over three years through donations and fundraising events.  These varied from auction of promises, clay pigeon shoots, private garden opening events, a gourmet supper, plant sales, a jazz event, suppers, farm visits and walks, a tennis tournament, screenbites, skittles and of course many raffles.

Somerset County Council and South Somerset District Council Jointly awarded us their maximum capital grant and SSDC selected our hall as their top priority community building.
